Condor of the Andes


Condors are largest broad winged soaring birds. Adults may measure up to 1,42 of large and 2,74 to 3,10 in wingspan.
They can weigh up to 11 to 15Kg.
The adult plumage is uniformly black what white feathers in the neck.
These birds feed with diverse food. Mainly of death animals or carrion. They prefer to feed of rest of sea animals, like whales and seals, sea birds too.
Condors are located around of Andes Mountain, from Colombia to Argentina. They grow up in cliffs.
They are not dangerous because they just feed of corpses, they don’t hunt.
